I am so excited about all we have to offer for the coming year and hope that you will take full advantage of some or all our upcoming events.
Well 2023 flew and It’s been a year since the Algarveans group officially became
“Os Acting Algarveans Anglo-Luso Teatro Experimental”
On 28th January wee will be holding our first AGA at the “Little Theatre” or to give it its official name União Juventude de Sesmarias or UJS
you are all warmly invited to attend.
We have received nominations for all but one position.
With the increase in events, socials, workshops etc we are in need of an organised, computer literate individual, who can assist us on the direction committee with admin! Please don’t be shy, we are a very friendly, inclusive committee.
NB – in order to vote at the AGA you must be a paid up member.

After the AGA we will be celebrating our “anniversary” with fizz and cake!
As promised, we hit the ground running. January has been anything but a slow month.
Carmen’s workshops are a huge hit, with fully booked Singing Workshop and acting workshop. If you want a place on any of Carmens and Shelleys fabulous dance workshops I highly recommend contacting asap by email to

We had an amazing line dancing evening on 16th, hosted by Karen Morris-Marks, with 27 attendees. Such great fun, and many new faces attending. It was so good, we have decided to do it again on 23rd. Places filling fast! Contact algarveansinfo@
