HISTORY & GALLERY
Founded in September 1991, when, after an advertisement in the local paper, some twenty interested people gathered at Jerry Lane’s house. The outcome was the theatre group was formed and the decision taken to put on the pantomime “Puss in Boots” in the following January.

In 2023, for legal reasons, the group re-formed under the Portuguese name of Os Acting Algarveans AngolLuso Associaçao de Teatro Experimental – but we will always be The Algarveans Theatre Group and the ethos and spirit lives on
